Nursing Students Student Assist

Published

Hello all bright nurses

I was posted in cath lap and I assigned to patient underwent pace maker inserting

What a list of nursing diagnosis can I mention in my documents folder and what health education points

Thank you for kind replay

Flattery unfortunately will get you no where.

Things to think about for your assignment

-why did the patient warrant a pacemaker

- what kind of pacemaker. What are the settings

- how was it inserted. What kind of complications can arise with it

You should be able to google specs about the type of pacemaker the patient gets and you haven't given enough information for us to offer more suggestions.

Finally, do your own work then come here and tell us what you think and we'll correct you/ offer suggestions. We've already done nursing school once. I imagine most of us have no desire to do someone else's homework

The patient underwent permanent pace maker inserting because she has heart block and her pulse was 29..

Then doctor put temporary pacemaker put patient shows failure to pace as it shows in 12 lead ECG

then doctor decided to put permanent pace maker

The list of nursing diagnosis I answered

1/ risk for infection related to present of pacemaker

2/risk for bleeding related to wound site

There could be something r/t skin integrity, a knowledge deficit, impaired physical mobility, self-concept or body image issues, risk for ineffective management of therapeutic regimen...I will let you say why.
