What's your pick for the perfect nurses watch?

Nurses Uniform/Gear

Published

Hi all!

I'm looking for the perfect nurses watch and could use some help. Perfect for me, means analog, with military time, night light, over sized plate, I can find that easy enough, but I'm struggling to find a watch that I can wear all the time, meaning I don't particularly like the "white band" and am looking for a dressier band.

So... any ideas, favorites? Big thanks!

When gowning up, I wouldn't think you'd be allowed to pull out a non-sterile watch... kinda defeats the purpose. All the L&D rooms I was in had wall clocks available, and all the warmers had their own timers as well. Maybe not every facility has that, however.

And my chest is large enough that it protrudes significantly... no awkward viewing angle required! LOL

I'm not sterile with my gown. My gown is purely protection on my uniform.

We have digital clocks. I like a second hand.

My chest...does not protrude any significant amount lol

I use the air sports watch 2 and I love it. I had the original one but then bought the new one when it came out. The inside watch thingy comes out and the whole thing can be completely washed and cleaned and is sterile, which from what I have read on this thread most of you are concerned about. It has a stopwatch on it too, so I can take a pulse with it. I think the name of the company is Air Sports Watch, or something. I used a coupon code I found "AIR15" and I think it gets you 15% off plus free shipping (don't hold me to it though, it may be old or whatever). At least it did when I bought it :-)... It runs about $39.95 and you can get 4 or 5 different colors I think.
