what type of watch do you prefer?

Nurses Uniform/Gear

Published

I'm starting my nursing program in January...Yay! Getting all my supplies and things like that. I was thinking of getting a lapel clip on watch. I don't really like things on my wrist, and it seems kind of like a germ catcher too. So, just wondering what everybody thinks about watches?

Like a couple others, I prefer g-shocks! Simply because they are practically indestructible (so you can autoclave them if you needed to) and are easy to switch between standard/military time and functions like countdowns, alarms, stopwatch, and have more than one second indicator. They're somewhat expensive but I still have all the g-shocks I purchased originally (6 of them altogether) and I can easily say they've served me well. Casio also sells calculator watches, which are much cheaper (I picked mine up for $20), lower profile, and still have a very pronounced second hand. Sorry for the lengthy comment, i'm a bit of a watch junky. :cat:
