Scrub brands and SIZING!?? Help!

Nurses Uniform/Gear

I am a new nurse about to start my first job. I can wear any color scrubs and I thought shopping for scrubs would be a lot more fun but it was so frustrating. I am 5'3 but I have D cup chest. I would find the pants in the color and size I need (small petite) but then I couldn't find the top. I'm resorting to ordering online but I don't know what brands are best and what size to get in tops? I know I can return them if they don't fit but I was hoping to get some input first. Help??

Unfortunately each brand has a pretty individual fit. Often the ones focused more on younger nurses are usually tighter on top. One trick I have used in the past is to go to the local scrub shop and try on different brands to see how they fit. They rarely carry the right size & color I want so I use them to figure out fit then go home and order the right color. I also have a generous cup size so I understand. One I remember is Koi; they tend to size a bit small so I usually order one size larger in their scrubs.

Also remember that the 100% cotton ones will shrink! I hate scrub shopping too. A medium is too small and a large is too big ... I'm like Medium and 1/2 please!!! That being said I love Koi Lindsey pants. I am short 5' 3" but my legs are longer than a petite length and shorter than a regular length, but those pants are awesome because they have the cinchy thing on the bottom so the regular length isnt a problem. Koi tops I buy a large because they do run smaller. My favorite brand is Med Couture they are a nice soft stretchy fabric and they wash nicely and I can buy a medium that fits and I don't have a to get a huge baggy large. I am also busty so they are nice to show a feminine shape ... conservatively. Dickies Jr. Fit, Baby Phat, Ecko Red, Koi, and some Wink (all the young trendy brands) all run small so I cannot even get a medium over my chest, so I have to wear a large. Med Couture, Peaches, Landau, Dickies Missy, & some White Cross I can wear a medium in. Good Luck. My advice is go to a big scrub store with a wide selection and try several brands on before you buy online.
