Popular Allbirds sneakers

Anyone use allbirds, those popular wool sneakers for work?? Thinking it would be nice to wash them after a few shifts since they are machine washable. But the absorbent wool fabric makes me wary. here's the link to their website. Allbirds

They are adorable from the pics on the website and the machine washable feature would be great. HOWEVER, I personally would not purchase them due to the "absorbable" wool. The things I've wiped off the tops of my shoes over the years (lots of different body fluids) - I'll stick with my leather shoes that I can wipe down with the heavy duty sanitizer wipes. I kinda view non-absorbent shoes as gloves for my feet I guess!

I was thinking the same thing. They are so cute and I want them to be work appropriate so bad, but the absorbable wool turns me off as well. I have considered buying a pair and spraying water repellant spray on them to make them water proof.

Then again other sneakers, like Nike's etc. are often times cloth material too... Let me know how they work if you decide to wear a pair to work!

They look comfy, but I also don't see myself wearing them for nursing work. Sure as ever, I would spill a container of nasty tube feeding on them!
