Large(r) chested: Scrub Help!

Nurses Uniform/Gear

Published

Hey y'all! I have a question about scrub tops.

I have the absolute hardest time finding tops that fit me! (I'm talking about scrub tops here but even regular non-work clothes are hard for me to find, too :banghead:)

I worked at a hospital during school as a tech & we were allowed to wear t-shirts so I didn't have that problem but my new grad position requires scrub tops :)

I wear a xs/s in scrub bottoms depending on the brand, but I cannot for the life of me find a scrub top at the local stores that fit me.

I am a 36DD chest (so mediums fit me up top) but my waist & everything below my boobs fit a small. SOOO I either look like I am wearing a potato sack or I look like I am squished into a sausage casing.

Do any of my large-chested friends have any scrub top recommendations? I am trying to avoid spending money on taking already expensive scrubs to get altered.

Thank you!

I like the Grey's Anatomy mock wrap (sold at pretty much every scrub shop, on Amazon, etc.) Robot Check

(The link above is to Amazon, no idea why it auto-populated to 'Robot Check', I swear it isn't malware).

The horizontal fabric band beneath the bust has adjustable buttons (which you can see in the linked image from the back). The buttons allow you to tuck the waist a little tighter so that it's loose enough up top but slightly more form-fitting along the waist. IMO the fabric also falls in a fairly flattering way, and they offer dozens of colors.
