Best way to highlight skills?

So, I'm updating my resume with the thought that I may apply to a PACU position in another hospital (haven't completely convinced myself to go ahead). I've put together the following under my 2 yr ortho experience:

- Performs frequent patient assessment, closely monitoring for changes in condition, initiating interventions, adjusting care as needed

- Emphasis on adequate post-op pain control by both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic means while monitoring for over-sedation and side effects

- Frequently administers blood products and fluid boluses post-op

- Experience with maintaining and discontinuing epidural analgesia

- Maintains safety while assisting patients with ADLs and therapies

- Rotates taking night shift charge RN duties, making assignments and overseeing patient care

- Floats to Medical and Med/Surg care floors PRN allowing for additional acute patient care experiences beyond orthopedics

As nurses, a lot of the skills & duties we perform are a given & I'm just not sure how much is necessary on the resume. Thoughts?

It's a little wordy. I would leave out about maintaining safety and assisting with ADLs. It should be a given that you do these things. Anything an aide could do, leave out. Safety should never be a question.

The blood products and epidurals would be important to mention. I would try to be more concise and list more skills. Experience with dressings or high risk situations, any training that would be applicable, anything mentioned in the job description for such a position, etc.

Mind you, I'm still looking for work. These are things I've been advised on.
