I attend Graceland University. They have a great RN-MSN option. I am about 9 months from graduating with my MSN/FNP. They do not have a ACNP program. Give 'em a call. Expense-wise they are slightly cheaper than UP. You will do your clinicals in your area. This is the hard part because you have to find your own preceptors/clincal sites. That is fairly standard. They have 2-3 "focus" sessions over the 3 years. They are about 4-5 days for each one. Another nice thing about Graceland is that when it comes time to transition to the graduate phase you do not have to take the GRE if your GPA is high enough. When you actually graduate you are awarded a BSN and a MSN.

There are other schools as well. University of South Alabama has a RN to MSN (I think, it may be a RN to BSN to MSN) and I think they have an ACNP program. They are also a bit cheaper than Graceland. They require some limited campus visits and like Graceland you must find your own preceptors/clinical sites.

They have an FNP option. I think you have to have your BSN first. But there are a ton of places you can get your BSN online.

I'm looking into slippery rock university for my BSN. It's only $212 per credit. I've ruled out university of phoenix after speaking to a rep.
