Online colleges - self-paced schools?

Students Online Learning

Published

I am a student at in the RN-MSN (Education) program. I have had a REALLY great experience and have a very specific question for you all.

Is anyone else in a self-paced program at an entirely-online college/university? The reason I am asking is because my boyfriend is looking for a flexible criminal justice program set up in a similar format to WGU's.

Ideally, WGU should just start a criminal justice bachelor's degree program so he can attend there. :) But, I don't know if that is in their future. I know this is a little off the path of nursing, but I was just wanting to know if any of you are attending a school set up similar to WGU that also has criminal justice degrees.......

Thanks in advance! ReggaeRN

St Joseph's College of Maine (SJCME) Online has an online self-paced RN-BSN, and MSN. They may have a Bachelors degree in criminal justice. Just check out their web site.

Aspen University has a Bachelors in Criminal Justice. You'd have to ask the university if this program is self-paced.

Bellevue University has a Bachelors in Criminal Justice that's accelerated. You'd have to ask if its self-paced.

Self-paced and online universities: , SJCME, Northcentral University

ReggaeRN- I am very interested in the MSN program. Did you get your BSN through them as well? How long do you think this program will take you to complete?

I was interested in finding out about your experience with GCU RN-BSN On-line. I have read reviews with some negativity about the school. How long ago did you graduate from GCU? Would you recommend this school to others? How much was the program if you don't mind me asking? Any concerns or issues with submitting papers or discussion post? Did you have a good experience when completing your group work? Any other information you can provide would be appreciated.
