Nursing Students Online Learning

Hey!! I've seen alot of nurses getting some great feedback here so... I recently started College Networks LPN-RN program. Well about a month ago. I have been having such a hard time staying motivatied. I am usually very organized and dilligent about everything, but this... I have to start from the begining (my core classes will not transfer). Now I have all these books, and don't have a clue about the best way to tackle them. Any advise? I guess between a full time job, kids, etc., I am feeling a little overwhelmed. Thanks ahead of time for the advise!!

Turp,

It can be really hard for people to adjust to studying when there's no professor, no homework, no possibility of a pop quiz. One thing I can suggest: Some people do better when they have a date for their exam. Sometimes people will schedule their exam first, then study for it. You obviously want to give yourself some time (don't schedule it for next week), but once you register and have a deadline to work with, it might light a fire under you.

Good luck!

Thanks for the advise!! I guess I was having a bad day I feel much better about it today. I am gonna try to schedule tests like your suggestion. I think your right a deadline would definitly motivate me.
