I applied to Kingwood's quest online nursing program for fall of 2011. Can anyone tell me who's gone through the program what the typical schedule looks like? I know that they said that it is a more flexible schedule. Also, does anyone know what the cut off score was for the last time that they offered this program? I am anxious while I wait to hear back.
I received a phone call from an instructor at Kingwood College Nursing the week before I got my acceptance letter to Quest in the mail. This Nursing instructor (forgot her name) informed me that the quest program was being cancelled due to lack of interest. There simply weren't enough applicants for the program. The instructor told me I had two options: 1. enroll in the face to face transition program, or 2. enroll in the 15 month online program, that is not a transition program. I opted for the 15 month class, but I was really disappointed that the Quest program had not worked out. I was really confused when I received my letter of acceptance into the Quest Second Degree Program. Did anyone else receive a phone call?
Also (I know I keep going on) - but it is very weird that they would send out letters of acceptance if they did not have enough applicants. It seems that they would gather all applications, determine that there were not enough applicants, and then send out letters stating cancellation of the program...Hope to hear something from someone soon. Was really excited about starting the program; my arm has been killing me from getting both the Varicella and Tdap on the same day!
