just got my email! Here we come!

Students Online Learning

I just received my email that said I was eligible for FCCA and CPNE registration. I cannot believe we all got here.

I was wondering if anyone knows the difference between the EC conferences and workshops?

I havn't heard anything good about the workshops and plan on taking Lynns or Chanchellors or tina's. I already ordered Robs videos, so I guess I will see. the conferences aren't too much, but it is all adding up huh?

I am just kinda freakin already! lol .

I was going to study for my clepping of sociology??? but this looks like a lot of stuff. Does anyone know if you study first, and than register. Or do you register and get a date.

Any advise would be appreciated.

thanks

Congratulations! It's awesome that we all started together and we are all finishing together :-)

As soon as you get that e-mail you may call the number to set up your FCCA for the next available window. You can also start uploading and submitting your documents to apply for the CPNE and when you are ready to send them all in you can do it now too! I got my CPNE date before my FCCA even got to my house.

Can't say enough about how much I love Rob. I watch him every night. He makes it look so easy. I am also doing Sheri Taylor's online workshop. So far so good, but honestly, I like Rob's way better. I am thinking I might only do Sheri's for a month bc it's so expensive.

I am signed up for two conferences with EC since I can't afford to do the workshop, I am doing the documentation conference which was recommended to me and the Beginning CPNE prep (with Loops!) in July. I am not sure what to expect from these conferences but I hear they are the best. Sheri Taylor covers enough on care plans I think and the skills lab I pretty much have down on my own. If you want a good idea of the lab stations, look up a girl named Vanessa on youtube, her videos are awesome.

I was planning to do Microbiology this summer but the CPNE is honestly overwhelming and all consuming of my time. I am not sure if I can squeeze it in.

Good luck with everything! :-)

You can do either first but you have to pass fcca to do cpne. Its up to you. It is a lot to study but the payoff will be worth it! I really like sheri taylors btw. Go to http://www.excelsior.edu/cpne and it will have all the info you need about the differences.

I just noticed this now that you said it, I watched it again. She did not fully open the secondary clamp first... or atleast she didn't say she was going to.
