I am a second semester ASN student in Deaconess College of Nursing's online program. I live in Orlando FL and am completing my clinical experience requirements through Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center where I was able to help establish an affiliate agreement between Deaconess and HOFRMC.

Can u tell me the approx cost of Deaconess? I am finishing up my LPN and want to get my RN through distance learning. I am leaning towards excelsior but the one shot CPNE scares me. How does it work with Deaconess? How do the clinicals work?TIA!

Deaconess tuition is $435 per credit hour...with 30 credit hours through DCN for the LPN to RN that would be a total of at least $13,050. Each of the three semesters of the LPN to RN program require ~72 hours of clinical experience that is completed at a facility in your local area. Then at the end of each clinical semester you will travel to St Louis for a 3-4 day clinical validation with your instructor.
