Texas BON: From endorsing to enforcement????

I received my first License in Illinois (no problems) and endorsed to Indiana a year later (why did I do that)..YES..I have a sealed criminal record of Battery from 2001..so when i applied to Indiana they had me to come before the board and explain my charges...I was given my Indiana license on probation for 2 years..My family decided to move to Texas, so i contacted an attorney in Texas to discuss my situation and was informed that i didn't need to obtain legal representation all i needed to do was handle Indiana and Texas would have to follow suit with the order of Indiana. well my Indiana license was reinstated to active on 11/3/14 so I proceeded to apply to Texas...

Yes I had to pay $150 to enforcement ...sent to BON in December..call in January to confirm receipt and was told it was sent to enforcement 1/22..and that it could take up to 90 days...OMG I have to work..I have already moved and it will devastate me to move back to Chicago... HELP....words of encouragement, your experience, all advise is welcomed...I have to make so major decisions soon.

Sorry to hear what you're going through. My case is in the enforcement department as well.. (Shoplifting Under $50) from 9 years ago. I did not have to pay the investigative fee of 150.00 though and I've been in enforcement since 1/9/15. All I can really say is that it's on a case by case basis and the length of time may be different. Also, I just graduated and I need my ATT to take my NCLEX maybe yours will be different since you already have a license. Pray to God for peace and Reassurance and trust in him. Stressing out will not change the outcome. Hoping for the best for you.

You know you have a record and you know that your application may require extra processing time. Do not I repeat DO NOT pack up and move before you have your license in hand. I know its water under the bridge but I've seen this situation mentioned a few times on this board, and it always baffles me. In the future do not quit, do not move until your license is confirmed and posted on the BON site. Especially if you do no have the funds to wait it out.

I applied for the LVN program in May and got accepted to be in however I cant actually start my classes into I receive the approval letter from the BON. I have a misdemeanor from 2007 engaging in criminal activity and my juvenile record came up which was failure to Id and forgery in 2002. I'm 29 now so of course my juvenile record was a long time ago. I'm really nervous because I've worked so hard to get in this program. I hope they approve me to take my Nyclex. I have to Dec 15 to receive my letter. Its been in enforcement since Oct. 15. Do anybody have any similar case that has been approved. I'm so nervous
