Hi, I worked for 5 years as an RN and then became disabled. I have been out of work for almost 2 years and am having a VERY hard time re-entering the workplace. Any advice on going back to work? Any advice on what to put in my cover letter too! MY experience has been in pediatrics and pediatric oncology, but I am applying for all different positions with no luck.

Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!

The job market is very closed up. Some nurses I know have been looking for up to or greater than a year. Just keep trying Check out the other forums in the career section even one's like new grad...for there are plenty of gret suggestions.
  5. One of our local community colleges offers a course, I think it is called "RN refresher" or something like that. It is for people in your situation. There was a clinical component to it as well.

You may have something similar locally.
