Nurses: Did you get a job because of linkedin?

Nurses Job Hunt

Published

I was advised by a family member to sign up onto linkedin to find jobs.

Anyone here get hired because of a resume they had up on linkedin?

Oops. I mean contacted.

I get several recruitment offers a month through my linkedin account. Half are agencies, half are facilities.

I actually accepted my second job through being recruited on indeed.com...and yes, I get offers through them too.

However, I'm not a new grad but a nurse certified in a specialty, so that probably is a major factor in my being contacted by employers/recruiters.

OP: I'd sign up because you have nothing to lose by doing so. Good luck with the search!.

I've been contacted by several legitimate recruiters. LinkedIn is also a good way to identify the players at an institution you are interested in
