Help Getting a Job

[historylady, MSN, RN]

I graduated in 2009 with a BSN. Family circumstances prevented me from searching for my first job for more than a year. Now when I apply for RN positions, I am being told that my degree is too old. In addition, it is being implied that I am too old (50+). I have little experience other than clinicals and am unable to relocate due to family situation. I live in a state where I cannot take CNA or LPN positions and still retain my RN license. I have applied for over 200 positions across the nursing world (school,public health, acute care, long term care, clinic).

Any suggestions of what I can do to make myself more appealing?
