SVT in young patient

Hey everyone! I am a 20 year old nursing student and currently working as a tech at Florida Hospital. I was diagnosed with SVT back in 2011 but not prescribed any meds or anything because of my age. Well yesterday I was going to the hospital for my shift, felt a little nauseous and the normal heart pounding while driving to work, but then realized my hands and feet were tingling and I felt like I was going to pass out. When I got to the floor the charge nurses said I was gray in color and then got bright red, HR was 168, BP was 142/84. Which normal for me is around 110& 117/60. So I was admitted, stayed for a night, and now I need to follow up with my cardiologist. So to make a long story short, what are your opinions on beta blockers, getting an ablation, or just continue to deal with it with no intervention? I know that I'm going to be at the doctors this week so I would like to start thinking about the options. To be honest, I would not like to do either since I am so young, but I did not enjoy that last episode! Thanks! (sorry if this thread is in the wrong spot, I'm new to this! :) )

Per TOS we can not give medical advice but I would suggest find a reputable site re: SVT tx options and see what is available to you and go from there.. Have a list of questions you want to ask ready when you go see the Doc.. Don't forget the risks and benefits to each option. I wish you the best :)

Yeah, I was just wondering if anyone had any info/ experience with either to add to my pro/con list! Thanks anyway though :)
