I am in no way bashing MA's-I worked with several, but I have to just share some things with two of the ones I worked with. Our doctor had given a woman a pelvic/Pap exam. She had some bleeding-due to the brush they use for the Pap. The MA argued with him that the reason for the bleeding was the digital lady partsl exam. She ARGUED with him! Also, I was told before I completed my RN education that "ANYONE can take boards--as long as you pass them you can be licensed as an RN." Gosh.........and All that time and money I spent on an education--to think all I had to do was just, "take the test." Duh.

Who in the world told you that anyone can take the nclex? Another urban legend

Why people make up such rumors is beyond me, but I can guarantee you that no one is allowed to take the nclex without the proper education, and proof of it no less.

I have to agree with the above poster. You have to have proof of the required classes and clinical hours.
