my ASD surgery

Nurses Safety

Hello, my name is Robert , I AM ASKING FOR MEDICAL ADVISE OF a surgical procedure that I had 15 yrs. ago for ASD, the surgery went well of course , although now I am experiencing some pain and tenderness and occasional sharp stabs in the very same area were the drain tubes were removed, mainly on my right front about where the liver might be, the old scar is sensitive to the touch and sometimes itchy, moderate pain is also evident , my Dr. suggests it can be a nerve issue from the drainage tube even though it 15 yrs. gone by now, is there any other substantiating evidence that could verify this diagnosis?

I had a CVA stroke last yr in June , could there be some nerve damage related to this ? the painful area happened maybe 6 weeks after the stroke, of which I have recovered well from.

Thank you if can help me !
