St. Luke's, Capitol Med, PHC, Medical City. Does anybody here work in any of these hospitals. If so, please help a fellow nurse out by telling me what I need to bring during my application aside from my resume. Any additional advice will be greatly appreciated.

hello...i'm new here at allnurses.com...just wanna know if there is an age-limit in applying at st. luke's and medical city...see, im a 2nd courser, and still have no experience...im cgfns certified and still planning to take the nclex exam...thanks...:redpinkhe

I used to work SLMC a long time ago and I don't think they are prejudice about your age. What I did back then was enrolled to one of their inservices which can increase your chance of being accepted. Also, follow-up your application not once or twice but frequently after filing and post job interview and please do it personally... That will impress them! Goodluck!

hi there,

after we finished the prequalifying exam ni med city last dec 12 i guess (which i didn't pass unfortunately), they told us that the next prequalifying exam will be by june this year. I think they hire 2 a year just like the board exams (june and dec)

hello mides...just want to ask..when did you submit your resume+requirements in tmc?im a june 2007 passer and i submitted my papers last october and still havent received any call from them...:uhoh3::uhoh21:

does it mean that they will not entertain applications submitted until june?? can you still sit for a qualifying examination if you are not ivt licensed?? thanks..

with that i really don't know. the last time i heard they had their exam last feb. though having an ivt certification is an advantage, almost everyone who submitted their requirements (such as resume, diploma, tor and prc certifications placed in long brown envelope your name, add and contact details as well the position you're applying, drop it in box somewhere on the parking area basement one [as per direction or hrd]) will go under the same process such as taking their preliminary exam and considering such training in the next few interviews.

i did pass my requirements same last year too same month as yours october. I think you just have to wait for a phone call from them. Just try to pass your requirements again. Probably since they have a bulk of applicants, they can't entertain all the applicants.

So much red tape, too many requirements when applying for a nursing job in the Philippines it's unbelievable for this U.S.-based Filipino RN.

I did not work in the Philippines therefore I'm astonished to learn that job applicants in some Philippine hospitals are asked to pay when they are applying for nursing jobs.

hi! im a registered nurse and just passed the local board exam last december. no experience yet but willing to be trained. i just wanna make an inquiry rergarding how i process my appication in your good office. what are the requirements needed and is there any sked we need to follow in passing our application? i have iv therapy training already but im not yet done with the completion to be licensed. is there any qualifying exam prior to be interviewed? thanks!

do they have a grade requirement? like yung board rating

i just passed this June 2008 and i really wanna work sa st.lukes. any advice please? like ancillary?

applying for SLMC Global City:

Bring your resume at Cathedral Heights Bldg (16th floor), be there in corporate attire so you'll have the chance to be interviewed by HR personnel. if you pass the initial interview, you'll be scheduled for a technical interview, afterwhich, you'll be asked to take computer-based assessment. then you will be given a request for medical examination and you can proceed to their lab and radiology, if the results were normal, you will be given a fit to work slip..then you'll be asked to pass the ff: birth cert., NBI clearance, diploma, TOR, Board Rating, Board Cert, cedula, 2x2 and 1x1 pic(white background)

goodluck!!!!

Good day!

I did passed a copy of my resume and credentials at st. Luke's groundfloor, I dropped it in a box for staff nurse.is it for SLMC branch? thanks!!

Hi wenggay - are you applying for Quezon City branch or the Global City branch? Global city processes all applicants at the Cathedral Heights Building - 16th floor. You may have passed in your resume for QC instead.
