Per PGH, they are already calling people who passed the panel interview from February 2011 for Final Interview.

Yey, 5 more months in the line... o__o

Nice nice, haha. I passed the panel interview last October 2012. :D 2 years...I'd appreciate it though if I can have the final interview before the year ends.

sheateman

You mean you had your final interview already? :D

hmmm they really are serious when they mentioned that the application may take two years..well, i know it's worth the wait..I'm still keeping my fingers crossed, hopefully, they will be able to finish the set of applicants from batch 2011 for final interview..

Sheateman: No, not yet. I had my panel interview last July 2011.. I'm hoping to have my final interview within this year and deployment maybe early next year. 3 years patiently waiting for the dream.

OT: I am actually working abroad now, but I am willing to go back and work at PGH. The dream of working at PGH is still very much alive. :)

Patience is a virtue. ^_^

I do not mean any disrespect. But i'm just wondering why would you want to go back here in the philippines despite poor working conditions in the nursing profession. I admire you for your courage my friend.

No offense taken @mistirdonat..

I know it's impractical to go back there, but as I told in my previous post that it is my dream to work for them (most people who knows about my plan/decision, are also asking me the same question). I guess achieving my purpose and finally landing in a career where I am truly happy is more important to me.

Financially speaking, I am trying to earn as much to secure my future during this period that I am still waiting for my final interview and deployment, so I won't worry about it if ever I will work for PGH in the future.

@mikeru22:

thanks for your reply! :D i've been waiting for them to call for almost 1 and 1/2 years and counting.. i was quite worried though if they are still calling anyone...

@thorabeech

wow! glad to hear this good news.. hopefully, anytime this year, they will be calling us for our final interview.

Hi guys.. I had my final interview last december 2012.. Still waiting for their call for deployment.. Do you guys have any idea how long does it take before they call for deployment? Thanks! Godbless for those who are still waiting for their final interviews..

I don't know exactly how long it takes but any time soon they will call you to undergo the medical examination/ PA then you're in. Congratulations in advance bleuler. You're just one step away from being a staff nurse @ PGH. :D Hmmm I have a question though, how long did take them to call you for ?the final interview, when did you have your panel interview?

Thanks mikeru22! I passed my application in june 2010.. Passed the exam august 2010.. I had my panel interview january 2011.. Then i had my final interview december 2012.. So i've been in the process for almost three years now.. It's really a long and tedious process..

It has been a long and tedious process indeed but hey you're almost there. :D I feel really delighted thinking that although it really takes time to get in as a staff nurse at PGH, we surely have an equal opportunity to be evaluated based on our individual competencies and nursing prowess. :D I can say this because I am currently an RN HEALS Psychiatric Nurse trainee at NCMH. The sad thing is despite the remarkable credentials (I'm speaking not just for my self but also about a few people I know who have exemplary board rating and academic record), the Nursing Service couldn't guarantee us any slots for a staff nurse position simply because the backer system is so rampant that even the nursing service executives themselves are telling us that it really takes a really powerful backer to get in.

Oh by the way, in my case I took the NPE in January 2012, had my panel interview in October of that same year. Looking at it, I would probably have my final interview on the last quarter of this year or on the first quarter of 2013. :D

Yes, i think we really need to have tons of patience for this one.. Haha.. And i think it's much better if you got in without needing a "backer" because a different kind of sense of fulfillment will be there.. Haha.. Anyway, Godbless you in your pgh journey.. :)
