@johnjo I just passed the qualifying exam last February. My board rating is above 80% and was given the 35 item examination. Until now I am waiting for their text or call for my initial interview but they didn't tell me when that text or call would be. Did they really tell you that your initial interview would be next year 2012? Thanks.

Hi everyone, I would like to ask if it is true that those who have a board rating of 80 above that passed the exams and trainings are the only ones who will have a rank or will be an officer in the nurse corps, and those that have 80 below but also did passed the exams and trainings will just be an enlisted men in the nurse corps??? please I need info because I aspire to be a military nurse and I want to be just like those officers (2Lt/1Lt) who are in service.... thank you very much

I could still remember my research before when I wass still in College about the Military Nurses; it is entitled, "Job satisfaction based on Two-Factor theory and the Clinical performance of the military nurses", our respondents of course were the military nurses in V. Luna Medical Center, based from the results, what drives a military nurse to work efficient and harder is the salary and benefits.

hi everyone...i really want to be a military nurse...but my hgt is 5' 1" and 1/2...for females it should be 5' 2"????do you think they can still consider my hgt???hehehec:

i dont understand why height would be an issue, since you can even work as a nurse abroad (with bigger, larger, taller patients) regardless of your shape and size, it should be abolished unless they give reasonable and legit reason why height requirements should stay.

@frituplus: okay, i'm a bit confused now, they have an erratic set of exam. I have an above 80 board rating but still i took the 100 items exam.. oh well at least i still passed it. yes, the desk officer there told me that i would probably be called next year, at the very least, because they are still processing the applications last year.. im training in vluna right now and i've asked those new military nurses about that and they've said that, yes, you will wait for a year or 2 before you are called. .
