    Hey, has anyone taken or know of anyone who has taken the "addictions and mental health" certificate program? Has it been beneficial for anyone with a BScN? Mental health has always been fascinating to me, just wanted to know if it would be as a good as a CNO certification.

    I have a couple of friends who have taken the program. Ryerson, George Brown and Humber offer certification programs. It is beneficial if your goal is to work in psychiatric nursing/ mental health. Otherwise, the certification is for your own learning, and has no bearing on the CNO. The CNO mandates nursing practise in Ontario and issues your license.
