Didn't take the test - I've always had a problem with Maslow's hierarchy because . . .
if you put 500 people on an unknown island and watched responses I truly believe that some would be searching for water, getting food, building shelters, exploring to check out any dangers etc while others would find it essential to sit and watch the sunset or weave palm fronds into playthings or pretty things, ignoring hunger and thirst.
I know people who would rather paint or think about philosphy than eat. So in my view, Maslow's H is just an idea about physiological needs. It may have some value as a tool to set about caring for certain (sick?) people, but I do not believe it generally applies at the upper levels of the H.
Other responses?
It is meant to be a tounge-in-cheek kind of test...........more for fun than to really diagnose your place on the hierarchy......which I also feel to be pretty worthless, another example of wasted time teaching theory to nursing students instead of reality.

Of course, with most of the Survivor contestants, it's not that they value philosophy more than food or shelter, it's that they're lazy, dumb, and/or easily distracted by shiny things.

Well, in a survivor like reality those philosophical or artistic in nature would learn very, VERY quickly the importance of work.......I know I am new here, but do all the threads go off track this rapidly? hehehehe.......I just wanted to see what you thought of my test!

And I'd love to take the test, if you can provide a working direct link.
Here is the link.......you may have to cut and paste...........
Yeah, I just checked it.........for some reason this program splits the address..........I do not know why.......but if you put it all in as one in your bar it works...........ah well............
