Nurses Humor
Published Sep 18, 2006
In the hospital where I worked a couple of years ago, a very well known hockey player came for healthcare after an accident...girls were all upside down...and you, for which famous star would you be ..let's say the best nurse you have ever been??

I had a pt's family member once say to me.. I hear that this famous person is on this floor today. (i won't use names, of course,). I said confidently no.. if that person was here, I would definately know it, I had been there for the last 10 hours. Then I go answer my pt's call light, someone I had been spending a lot of time with all day, and realized it was the famous person the family member down the hall had spoken of. I had been taking care of them all day and didn't realize it. Guess I'm a dork! :chuckle

See, I couldn't take care of him. The entire time I'd be trying to connect him within six degrees to the Pope or something!! Just had to go there....
I meant Kevin Bacon like the "Ren McCormick" type.

No No, I like Tom too! I think it's the eyes!
I like him best when he was young and thinner like in
that movie when he becomes a grownup wishing
on a fortune-telling machine at the fair..."Big" that's it (my poor brain!)
Also, Russell Crowe: "Gladiator" days
Leo D: "Titanic" days
Mel Gibson: "Brave Heart", with the long hair!
BTW anybody ever notice how similar Mel and Russell are, if I close my eyes I almost can't tell their voices apart!
Wow.....I guess I get to have him all to myself........Tom Hanks!
I like Tom Hanks too. I think the fact that he has been married to the same woman for so long without being involved in any scandalous affairs or anything is quite sexy. I LOVED him in "Saving Private Ryan." I can't decide whether that or "Forrest Gump" is my favorite Hanks film.
I loved Forrest Gump! The critics didn't like it, but I have seen it about 10 times and it is such a sweet story!:balloons:

HE stayed at a hotel i worked at bout 10 yrs ago, he ate in the restaurant and drank Heineken, and I checked him out of the hotel myself at the front desk. He knew I was shaking. When done he started to leave, turned around and winked at me, (i was cuter back then). WOW. They stayed at the hotel with a bunch of musicians. Even BB KIng--who did a tour with U2 and my BONO (see above post) anyway I checked out one guy from the bb king band and he had this huge gold necklace with "when love comes to town" -the u2 song they sang with u2-i asked him if i could have it but shucks he said no.
I am so jealous. I would have probably made a fool out of myself for sure!!

we're a hockey town too so Mike Fisher would be right up there but.. his chances of having an MI are pretty slim so movie star would have to be Timothy olyphant or Colin firth for me . Mr Darcey is ringing again, no problem I will go and see to his needs. Ha ha

Ah, but which Mr. Darcy would he be? Elizabeth Bennett's (Fitzwilliam) or Bridget Jones's (Mark)? Perhaps he's a psych patient bouncing between the two identities.

Brad Pitt , Johnny Depp & Mark Wahlberg would definitely get a hot sponge bath q 15 min PRN...
On the other hand I would love to have Robbie Krieger & Ray Manzarek from The Doors as pt's. I'm fascinated with their music and seen them in concert a couple yr's back (minus Jim Morrison of course and John Densmore. ) I'd be fluffing their pillows constantly.
