What if we were to challenge ourselves to find one part of our nursing day to be truly happy. What would that look like? Happiness in what we are doing as nurses, joy in our accomplishments, a good belly laugh, really knowing that as nurses we make a difference.

The goal? Lets hear what has made your nursing day awesome. What made you laugh. What you felt good about. By doing this, hopefully, we can all look to the good side of things, remember a funny or lovely response to this thread and smile.....this is a feel good laugh out loud thread...... and GO.....

Child who was freaking out to just be in the room in a really busy ED with a significant laceration. Funny how everything changes with a popsicle and a DVR movie. Angry Birds on a cell phone works too. Upon leaving telling the entire waiting room: "hey, I like this place--popsicles and a princess movie--I didn't even ASK.....make sure you say something to them if you want one though, I think they might have more...!!" Made me laugh my head off, I found it so randomly awesome...

A few good coworkers who always make me laugh with their jokes and stories and their presence lightens the place up and cheers everyone up!
