A 6 year old and a 4 year old are upstairs in their bedroom. "you know what?" says the 6 year old. "I think it's about time we started cussing." The 4 year old nods his head in approval. The 6 year old continues, "When we go downstairs for breakfast, I'm gonna say something with ' hell' and you say something with ' ***'. The 4 year old agrees with enthusiasm.

When their mother walks into the kitchen and asks the 6 year old what he wants for breakfast, he replies, "Aw, hell, Mom, I guess I'll have some Cheerios." WHACK! He flies out of his chair, tumbles across the kitchen floor, gets up, and runs upstairs crying his eyes out, with his mother in hot pursuit, slapping his rear with every step. His mom locks him in his room and shouts, "You can just stay there until I let you out!" She then comes back downstairs, looks at the 4 year old and asks with a stern voice, "And what do YOU want for breakfast, young man?" "I don't know," he blubbers, "but you can bet your fat *** it won't be Cheerios."

ROFLMAO!! That is hilarious! I have a 4 year old as well, but thankfully she hasn't shocked me with things like that.....yet. She just asks me simple questions like..."why do trees have bark?" WHERE does a 4 yr old come up with that stuff??_________________

Well, at least that's better than what I did at four years old........back then I was seriously into this cartoon called "Cecil the Sea-sick Sea Serpent", and his trademark saying was "What the heck?". So one day I was watching my dad trying to get the lawnmower to work (mechanical was not a word one could use to describe him), and after listening to some choice invective, I added my best Cecil impression to the mix in what I must've thought was an effort to assist Daddy in this delicate operation. Only instead of "What the heck", I said something more in keeping with the occasion......and the storm that broke over my curly head instantly drowned my enthusiasm: "WHERE did you learn THAT?!" he yelled, turning on me with his "anger face" as I called it. "I swear, if I ever hear that sort of language come out of you again, I'll take a switch to you, young lady!"

I don't think I ever swore in his presence again, not even as an adult, not even when we drank beer and played blackjack together. :)
