Getting around auto rejection application by lying??

Nurses Job Hunt

I have been advised by many different people to apply for jobs before I graduate in August. I have tried to take people's advice but everytime I apply and the computer asks if I have my license I put no and I get an automatic rejection email. Many of the new grad positions opportunities/ deadlines are made for people graduating in May or December. I have considered marking yes to having a license just to get a call or at least get past being rejected immediately. Anybody have any ideas on what would be best to do? Thanks for your time.

Ok I guess I will wait until after. I keep seeing threads that suggest before but I wasn't having luck. I understand that I do not qualify yet

Call HR and find out what their preference is. In my old company, they told new graduates to put in their exam date for the license date. Some will let you put in pending. However, if you don't ask then it may tick them off when they see you are not licensed.

I wrote "license pending NCLEX" on mine in place of the license number. Didn't get any calls though. I would suggest just planning where you're going to apply and solidifying your resume and cover letters until you have a license number. I know of one person who had a job waiting after NCLEX , and she got it by applying to doctor's offices who did not have a formal application.
