It used the Dreyfus Model Ina programming environment,but it is generic enough that it's concepts apply to nursing education.

Preparing Instructional Objectives by RF Mager

Telling Ain't Training by Stolovitch and Keeps (cannot say enough about this book!!!)

Training Ain't Performance by Stolovitch and Keeps (read the other first. This book has a workbook. I find it useful in training nurse managers. My daughter used it to train computer analysts!)

A lot of my supporting documentation for dissertation is coming from the computer sic/programing community. They have take Dreyfus (Benner) and Dunning-Kurscner to heart and really push those concepts.
