urgent care in health center vs med/surg in hospital

Hi to all

I am so thrilled to be on this board, you see I just passed my RN boards :monkeydance:

I need your advice, there is a strong possiblilty that I will be offered a job in a community health center, in the urgent care department. No nights only day hours.

I did my OB clinicals there, and I liked the center very much. I also have been given the opportunity to interview for a med-surg position in a top hospital, the hours are lousy (nights mostly).

I am just fearful that if i am offered these positons and choose the clinic over the hospital I will not develop skills like hospital nurses....

is there anyone that went right to a community health center setting as a new grad

and what was the starting salary?

what would you do?
