RN to BSN or MSN w/ no campus req.

  1. Hi,
Looking for advice for distance learning for the RN to BSN or MSN w/ no campus requirements. Also, any advice on programs that allow you to proceed at your own pace. I know about the UOP but they seem pretty costly.

I live in the state of PA if that helps.

TIA for any and all advice,
    Wendy

Hi Wendy. The Distance Learning forum may be the place to post your questions.

Here's a link to a discussion we've had about online RN to BSN programs. http://allnurses.com/forums/showthread.php?t=105380

Most programs however have semesters and don't let your work at your leisure, i.e. you have a time limit not only one when you finish the course, but when you submit your assignments. My courses in my program are generaly 7.5 weeks, with the occasionally 5 week or 10 week course.

    Good luck!

Check out Slippery Rock U. of PA. I just started there this semester and so far it's been great! It's one of the least expensive programs ($600-700 for a 3-credit class) and you don't need any general ed requirements except for Statistics and Ethics.
