How did you approach faculty professors about an interest as a research assistant? Do I talk to school couneslor for summer programs? Or ask science teachers? I have no research experience or have taken Anatomy/phys/micro yet but I did take biology and chemistry in high school. Plus I have a detailed resume showing my observation and good judgement skills in healthcare, including hipaa training and letter of recommendations from previous employers. I would really appreciate any tips to get in the door. Thank you

not sure what type of research you want to do but when I was doing my associates in nursing I was able to use the school program for undergraduate research to help me find my research mentors. I ended up doing one semester as an assistant on a faculty research, and when I was in my last semester if my AAS, I did my own project with a mentor. Check if your school has an undergraduate research program. Pm me if you want.

Awesome. Thank you so much :)

I'm flexible to perform anything related to research if that includes doing an independent study with a profressor, write articles with a professor, create posters for conferences, clean lab equipment, etc. for the summer
