Question on CNA!

Hello,

I am a pre-nursing student at my local community college. I want to make sure nursing is definitley for me so I am wondering if obtaining a CNA license would help me? My only concern is that I was in a car accident last month and I am having back problems as a result of the whiplash. I want to get my foot in the door (and get paid as well) to make sure nursing is for me. My chiropractor said it will take some time for my back to get better. Do CNA's use their back alot? I am afraid if I am a CNA then I could re-injure my back. If being a CNA would not be a great option for me then what other jobs would help me (and I could get paid too) to see if nursing is for me?

I know there are many types of nurses who don't have to use their back that much so I am not worried about that.. just worried with starting out as a cna.
