Nurse In Canada To Study Law in the US

Hello there! I would just like to inquire about the process to being a Nurse Attorney coming from having a nursing degree and experience in Canada and having to transfer to the US for law school eventually settling there.

Does anyone know what would the steps or process to undergo? I know I need to of course obtain a bachelor's degree in nursing here in Canada and pass the board exam in order for me to practice my field, but with regards to getting in to Law School in the US is having bachelor's degree from Canada valid and sufficient enough? Or do i Still need to take some test maybe? Or should i still need to take the NCLEX?

Your thoughts on this matter would be very much appreciated. :)

Hmm - I think your first step would be to investigate admission criteria for the law schools in which you are interested and start prepping to take your LSAT (law school admission test). Since our educational systems are very similar, you may very well find one that will accept your undergrad degree if your LSAT score is high enough. Be very careful. Law school is freaky expensive & there is a surplus of attorneys in the US. Courtroom Drama: Too Many Lawyers, Too Few Jobs
