Need some advice

Hi,I am a new LPN looking for a job. The last job I had was in an ALF that I quit in Feb. So, I have not worked since then. I wanted to focus on school, and I had a baby in July. The place I was working in wasnt safe, either. It was in an Alzheimer's unit and I was alone on the 11-7 shift. There were 20+ pts I was in charge of as a CNA and no nurse around at all, and just two other CNA's upstairs. Many of these residents were fall risks, combatitive, etc, and they all had their own rooms. I would be in one person's room when another would get up and start wondering around without walker and no way for me to know of this until I got out of the 1st pts room. I kept requesting help and would never get any tho they kept adding residents. Anyways, it got to a point where I was sick of it, so my husband went out and found a second job. That job wanted him to start right away, so I stupidly gave a less than two weeks notice at my job. I never got a reaction to it, because I wrote a note (a professional one, not bad mouthing the company at all and explaining the situation why I needed to quit, and thanking them for the opportunity to work there), and becuase I was always alone. Anyways, I know this is my fault, but I am worried about them giving me a bad reference for any LPN jobs I am looking for now. I have only been looking for 2 1/2 weeks now and I know it's a tough job market right now, but what should I do? Should I leave that job off my resume? I worked there for 5 months, but they were all months that I was in school, so that would make sense for a gap in employment. But I also know that many employers do background checks and if they see that I worked there and didnt put it on my resume that would raise some redflags. Should I go into an interview and be honest and just say that I dont believe they would give me a good reference and here's why, or should I keep silent and hope that they dont call them or give a bad reference? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks! And I am sorry for any typos, I am holding a baby and it is hard to type one handed!
