I need to interview someone who is currently working in the field that I am studying for school(RN). I understand that some of the question may seem too personal, but you don't have to answer the ones you don't want. I will even make up a different name for you for the interview. So if anyone would like to help, I would really appreciate it. I know it may seem like a lot to ask, but I would be so grateful! :wink2: Here are the questions I need to ask are:
What made you decide to become an RN?
What did you think about Nursing school overall?
Do you enjoy being an RN?
What are some of you job duties?
What kind of qualifications were required of you to start your career?
What are the positive aspects of being an RN?
What are the negative aspects of being an RN?
What is a typical day like on the job?
What are your normal working hours(or shift)?
About how many hours do you work a week?
Is overtime available or mandatory?
Do you get overtime pay or holiday pay(time and a half or double)?
Are there benefits available?
Do you get paid salary or hourly?
About how much do you make(yearly, monthly, weekly, or hourly)?
Is there room for advancement?
What is your overall opinion about being an RN?
Are you happy with the career you chose?
