[COLOR=#3e454c]I have a business degree from Northern Arizona University and just got accepted into the NAU/SCC BSN program. I have been going back and forth between nutrition and RN. I would like do the arizona center of integrative medicine after I become an RN. I just found that there is a graduate certificate online through UofA for clinical nutrition (it a grad cert).I'm into preventative health, I need advice from RN's-as to the best route to take and then become a certified holistic nurse than I will do that. I just want to make sure that I have all the facts before going head first into the RN program come fall. I think allot of my apprehensiveness comes from the fact that I have a job making good money right now and am scared to go full time school. What are your thoughts? second bachelors get the RN and then figure it out after that or still work full time get clinical cert through UofA in Clinical Nutrition. I'm already in the RN program ready to start for fall entry, 20 months to BSN or I wait another year and try to do the 12 month nutrition cert online through UofA and try for the Arizona Center of Integrative Medicine program if they even accept clinical certs for entry.

I don't mind blood, love the human body. I'm questioning the fact that I'm into more preventative health and what the best path is for me to get there. Im 28 no kids with a supportive boyfriend. I just know I dont want to be taking care of the really I'll.

I know a lot of nurses who are enthusiastic advocates of holistic care but they aren't working in that area. The problem is - there is very little 3rd party reimbursement for this type of care and few people are willing to pay for it out of their own pockets. So, if your goal is to make a decent income, you may need to maintain a traditional 'day job' until things change.
