Hello! Questions re: LPN

I am currently enrolled in a Medical Assistant program but am thinking of trying LPN & possibly RN in the future. I'm not sure what to do & have been doing lots of research. What sort of hours will a new LPN work, I am worried that I will be stuck with all night shifts and do not think that is for me. Do a lot of LPN's get into physician's offices or would an MA get hired first? Also do most LPN's work in LTC facilities. Any advice would be appreciated!!
