Had two interviews and never heard back

Hi All! So I had two interviews for a new grad RN program at a hospital, the first one went very well and I was invited to the second portion of the interview. Before I left the second interview the recruiter told me she would call the next week to give feedback. To my understanding they were still holding interviews late that week. I never heard back, I even sent a follow up email indicated that I look forward to hearing from her and still nothing. It's been two weeks since my interview now. When I look at the information the recruiter sent me regarding the NG program it says positions would be offered 2-3 weeks after the interview process. I'm still applying for other positions and NO I haven't put all my eggs in one basket, yet I feel like this particular hospital is my dream job and the interview felt "magical". My husband is telling me that I wasn't chosen and I need to move on. Is it common that I wouldn't hear anything back at all, even after I did a follow up email? Have I been passed up as a candidate and they didn't bother to let me know? This is truly hard for me right now......
