Nurses Career Support

Published

Hi everyone I am just finishing up school for my RN, and I guess I am looking for advice. My plans are to get some experience by working on the med/surg floor and I want to know if after that time it might be a good idea to try traveling nursing? Any advice is appreciated.

gzusrose....I think if you get a year or two of solid medical surgical nursing practice and you feel confident and competent in your skills that most travel nursing agencies will be interested in you.

You may want to repost your question in the Traveling Nurse Forum (under nursing specialties) and put in your title something like...question for traveling nurses and hope some of them see your post and respond. Good luck! :nurse:
