Does My Dream Job Exist

A little background information. I am an RN BSN with 5 years neonatal icu, 2 years public health which includes (perinatal teaching) and a 6 months RNAC at nursing home. I loved public health especially teaching woman about birth control and perinatal teaching on healthy pregnancy. Unfortunately, I worked for a local health depth and the pay did make ends meet with only part time work available. I live in a small rural community and there isn't a lot of job opportunities here. My dream job would be a work at home job (i have two young children) dealing with perinatal education and women's health dealing with birth control and gynecologic issues. However I have been searching online for months without any luck. My question is has anyone come across a job like this with a reputable company? Does my job exist or should I give up?

Nope - haven't heard of a job like this. I have heard of some OB case managers who work with high-risk patients (teen moms), but their jobs require travel to client homes to conduct assessments in addition to teaching and evaluation of home environment. But healthcare is changing rapidly, so who knows what will happen in the future.

Just a side note: With a "Work at Home" job that has a decent salary, you will not be able to care for your children simultaneously... and still meet all of the job requirements. This is a fallacy. Companies with distance employees will have very specific productivity standards.
