Your outcome will be determined, if you are innocent fight! However, should you end up in hprp there are many nurses here who have been successful in finding employment. I, myself, am soon to be under contract with the BON (we don't have alternative to disipline), and I've got a couple ideas on where to work. You'll be alright even if you go under contract.

Well Thanku so much for the feedback it helps a lot I don't want the program though but oh well we will c how it plays out hope my expensive attorney is worth it

Specializes in pediatrics; PICU; NICU.

I was in a contract with HPRP for 1 year. (The only reason it was such a short time is because I moved back to my home state & assured HPRP I had no intention of renewing my Michigan license.). I worked private duty home care the entire year. It seemed like they really didn't care what type of nursing job I had as long as they got their quarterly reports from my supervisor. The biggest pain was remembering to call First Lab every morning to see if I was picked to test. Also, because I didn't live in Michigan, it took them about 5 months to find a facility near my home to agree to do the specimen collection. That left only 7 months I actually had to test so it saved me some money.

From the time I was reported until I actually signed the contract was a full year.
