Has anybody here tried logging in to NMC ? Im a nurse from the Philippines and the prompt kept saying that my account has not been authorized yet which is weird because I already booked my CBT on the 24th. I already tried sending them emails but to no avail. Huhuhu

are you logging in at this site? NMC International Registration > Login

check your email too, if they have send you an account activation link.

If you have done all of this, they might be updating their system or having technical problems

Is it okay to put in the first day of classes on the 'date commenced' in the professional education and training tab?

Our college secretary can only provide the Month and Year but not the day.

Hello, again. I ended up going round about to find my results the following day and found out I did not pass. Its super frustrating because my recruiter said nothing about reading the Royal Marsden or looking at the blueprint. I only found out about all that after failing via my new recruiter. Great. Thanks. Nothing like dropping 130pounds to fail.

I am now studying the Royal Marsden but there is SO MUCH in that book and I don't know what to focus on. Its especially concerning because I am a NICU nurse that has never done adult nursing except in nursing school. Its not a very nice route for people who do pediatric nursing who will do pediatric nursing in the UK. You'd think it would make more sense to put us through the pediatric test.

Anyway, hoping to retake in late December. My confidence has really been dashed because I thought I did fairly well on the last one for not being an adult nurse. I bought these practice questions (BMJ OnExamination Sign In) but I have no idea if they will help.

Anyone know what to focus on in the RM book? Anyone know any links to practice tests, because I feel like that will help me the most for my learning style (the amount of info in the book is just overwhelming).

Hi! Please check this site, it contains questions from the marsden manual Dougherty: The Royal Marsden Manual of Clinical Nursing Procedures Student Edition 9e

I also took the test twice! I just skimmed and scanned the royal marsden manual the first time I sat the CBT and might have missed some important info. The second time, I read the manual religiously and took notes, it really helped me pass the test this time.

thank you for your reply. I was able to access it yesterday but today it kept saying that it was not yet authorized. I tried to ask them to resend me an authorization email but the prompt said that I already have an account. I hope this is judt a system glitch.

Hi guys, i took and fortunately passed the nmc cbt yesterday. I just logged in and paid the 140GBP for application but few minutes have passed still i wasn't able to receive the receipt invoice, and after logging in again today the nmc portal still asks me to pay the 140GBP pending invoice (which i already paid an hour ago)...will i receive a confirmation email regarding the successful payment?or just wait for few days before it reflects on my portal?

That happened to me before...just call the nmc and they will authorize you to open your account. You will receive then an email few minutes after your call to inform you that you may access your acct and you also need to change the password that they temporarily made for you.
