Hello there! Does anyone know if I can still use my Ielts Result back in 2009 for applying New Mexico Nclex?

Im choosing between New Mexico and California Nclex, my problem with California is they require a Social Security Number before I can apply for Nclex. I'm an overseas nurse and I cant acquire a SSN in the US.

Im hoping somebody would be able to give me some inputs. Thank you!

Usually IELTS must be current when applying and for most is only valid for 2 years so therefore you will have to resit the exam

Don't forget while there are some states that allows the taking of the NCLEX-RN without the SS#, but will not give you the license until you provide them with a valid SS#. You will have passed the exam, but not able to start looking for a job.

Yes, I have decided to take my IELTS first then when I get to the US, maybe I can process my papers for NCLEX. I'll keep on reading posts here, that'll help me make a better decision.
