Hello,

I am from Lebanon, i finished my bachelor's in nursing there and worked for about 7 months. I recently immigrated to USA, and i am now a permanent resident of Michigan state. I looked at the Board of Nursing requirements and i found out that i should apply for the certification program of CGFNS which includes taking the CGFNS exam. So if i pass that exam i can go for the NCLEX exam and start working as a licensed RN. Right now i am still waiting for my my school to send the required transcripts to CGFNS.

I was looking for universities that accept cgfns evaluation, so far none have approved to that. I Was hoping to go for graduate school here after the CGFNS process is done, but so far signs are showing that i have to retake a bachelor's degree here in order to pursue my education to grad. school. I did call cgfns to ask about this, and they said i should apply for the CES academic report. however, they told me to call the universities first to make sure they accept cgfns.

So my questions are:

1- does anyone know what is the best way to study for the cgfns exam? any tips?

2- Has anyone been through my situation and was able to continue to a masters degree? should i really go back and retake my bachelor's here?
