I am a single mom and currently working on getting a associates degree as a Registered Nurse. My question is do I need to get a Bachelor's degree to be able to move to England and how much experience do I need? I know it's not easy to move to England and it's been my dream for a long time so I will work as hard as I need to and more to hopefully achieve my dream of moving to England and helping people. (I know it's one of the countries in the UK)

Generally your training has to meet the UK training and it used to be that ADN was not accepted by the NMC however now I believe it is on case to case basis. Only real answer will come from the NMC once they receive your application and they review your transcripts. UK training is now at BSN level

Should I still try and work on getting my BSN? So is there a way to make sure I get the right training? As I don't want to go and get a BSN and find out I don't have the training needed to be able to move to England. I read that registered nurses are on the job shortage lists which is nice since I want to help people and have thought about taking nursing classes. I have been taking longer on competing them as I find it hard to find information on how much experience I need and what schooling is needed as I don't want to get a BSN if it still won't help my daughter and I move.

Really only the NMC will have the answer. Did you look at the NMC overseas trained section? There is a handbook there that gives some info out
