i am currently waiting for my decision letter from aphra and quite frankly i am a bit confused on visas...lets just say i am finished with all the process and i already have my 456 visa -- this is valid for a year but your maximum stay in australia is only for three months and then you have to go home and come back again...a bridging program is 12 weeks max that's roughly 3 months --- so you have to go back home after finishing the program am i right?? for those who finished their program please enlighten us with this process...you have to find an employer who will sponsor you for a 457 visa a temporary business long stay since the employer nomination scheme is closed and they are not accepting new application since july 1, 2012 am i right?? so the process for that according to the australian website is 2 months...so do you really have to go back home???

please can anyone explain this to us nurses wishing to go to australia and work...thanks...
