Hi,

Do any of you know of a school (anywhere in the US) where I can pursue my NP education WITHOUT having to worry about trying to find a preceptor? I would like to know what NP programs actually provide for ASSIGNED clinicals and preceptors. I know that trying to find a preceptor is a huge problem, and I just want to avoid that headache! :nono:

Thank you so much for your time!

Hi NJprisonrn,

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer to my question. Yes, I have taken SO MANY schools out of my list for that reason. I think that if they are so willing to take my money, they should be giving me something in return.

Good luck!

Thanks again,

Di

Ole Miss (FNP provides preceptors)! And whatever school you're thinking about in the North, we're cheaper! ... and warmer in Winter!

Good luck!

Hi Aussierules1985,

Thank you for your advice. I live in Massachusetts but I would love to live in a place with warmer winters ;)

Hi Averykat,

Northeastern U. is on my list:up:, they haven't answered my email yet. I'm sure they will very soon, they must be busy this week.

Thank you

Di

I am currently a UCLA employee work on a Heart transplant floor and will have about 3 1/2 years of experience when I apply. My Undergraduate GPA was 3.4 but I am very involved on my floor with projects and volunteer on the side. I was wondering if you could provide me with some advice about making my application stronger thx! I will appreciate any advice :)
