Licensing in a different state help

Specialties NP

Published

Hi all,

I was wondering if there was a company or licensing services that would help me get my NP license in a different state without me doing the paperwork. I got my RN license in PA, but to endorse the NP license is a crazy amount of time/paperwork. My original license is in FL. ARNP and RN. I'm currently licensed as an RN in PA. I just don't understand the forms that I have to fill out and not sure who I give what form to. It's so hard to find a job down here, everyone wants at least a year of experience and you have to speak spanish too which I don't.

Thanks,

I think you pretty much have to do it on your own. Unless, you sign up with a locum tenens company

They don't explain the process very clearly on their website. You have to search for the information. Some types of applications you do entirely online, others you need to download the paper forms and submit those. The steps are explained at the link below:

http://www.dos.pa.gov/ProfessionalLicensing/BoardsCommissions/Nursing/Documents/Applications%20and%20Forms/CRNP%20App%20Online%20Instructions.pdf

If you already have an active RN license there then all you have to do is log on to the website with the same credentials and apply for the NP license according to the instructions.

OK- you have apparently at least a master's degree. You should be able to figure this out.
